A graduate of the former Muscular Therapy Institute in Cambridge, MA, I am a licensed, nationally certified massage therapist with many years of experience. In addition to a longtime massage practice, I have had occupations as a journalist, software technical writer, and specialist for children who are visually impaired.
My diverse background enables me to relate to people of all ages and from many different walks of life. I have volunteered with children in settings such as Perkins School for the Blind and Franciscan Children's Hospital. I do massage for well older people as well as palliative care at a local senior living community, and I offer in-home hospice and palliative massage for a range of ages from children to older people. The wide variety of people I work with enriches my life and keeps my work rewarding.
